Judge Boyd also handed down an opinion in the case of Thomas Hunter against Mary L. Hersperger, appealed from the Orphans' Court of Montgomery County. This is an appeal from an order of the Orphans' Court, which directed the administrator of the estate of the late Hannah Hunter to invest the amount remaining in his hands and pay the income to the husband, Thomas Hunter, and after his death, to the children of Hannah Hunter. The Court of Appeals affirms the decision of the lower court in holding that the distribution was entirely in accord with the provisions of the statue for the distribution of the estates for those who die intestate.

AARON B. HERSPERGER

Poolesville, Md., Jan. 5 -- The funeral of Aaron B. Hersperger took place yesterday from his residence near Poolesville. Interment was at Monocacy Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. Walter P. Griggs. Mr. Hersperger is survived by a widow and 11 children -- Samuel A. Hersperger of Herndon, Va., William H. Hersperger of Adamstown, Md., E.C. Hersperger of Poolesville, Mrs. L.A. Chiswell of Dickerson, Arthur and Marshall Hersperger of Milestone, Canada; and Julia, Sara, Anna, Nellie, and Thomas Hersperger of Poolesville. He was in his seventy-first year and a prominent farmer in Montgomery County for 35 years.
Aaron married AHALT, Amanda C. 18 Jun 1861. Amanda (daughter of AHALT, Samuel and SCHLOSSER, Mary Ann) was born Abt 1840. [Group Sheet]
