    Age 41. Passed away on Thursday, Februrary 16, 1995 at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. He was born in Racine on February 25,1954, to William W. and Catherine (nee: Green) Spang Sr. William had been employed at A & J Catrage as a semi-truck driver for 6 years and was currently employed at Advance Waste Service as a semi-truck driver. William enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. During his younger years he was a jockey. Surviving are his one daughter, from his first marriage, Nicole "Nikki" J. Spang , of Ball State University, Mucnie, Ind. ; parents WIlliam Spang Sr of Watertown Wis., and Catherine Spang of Racine; two brothers and one sister-in-law, George (ellen) Spang of Cambridge, WIs, and Tim Spang of Portland , Ore., one sister Ethel "Louise" Spang of Racine. William is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceeded in death my one sister Cynthia "Cindy" Spang; and a special cousin Robert Spang Jr. Funeral services will be heldon Tuesday, February 21, 1995, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Glenn Graczyk officiating. Visitation will be this evening (TONIGHT) at the funeral home from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday February 21, 1995 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetary (Hwy. G) in Caledonia.

    William W. Spang

    CAMBRIDGE - William W. Spang, 72, 201 West Madison Street, formerly of Watertown, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 26, 2000. He was born in Racine on August 25, 1928, the son of William G. and Ethel (nee: Van Wee) Spang. On October 9, 1965 in Galena, Ill., he was united in marriage to Jeanette (nee: Anderson) Backes*, who preceded him in death. Mr. Spang owned and operated various business's in Wisconsin, including Spang's Retreat and the Nite Cap Motel, both in Watertown, until his retirement. He was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Cambridge and a former member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Watertown V.F.W. Post #3709 and the Watertown American Legion Post #189. He was also a member of the Hotel and Motel Association and the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by two sons, George (Ellen) of Cambridge and Tim (Vicki) of Jefferson; one daughter, Ethel of Racine; one step-daughter, Denise (Daniel) Kuehl of Hustisford; one step-son, Dennis (Jill) Anderson of Hustisford; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two brothers, John (Sandra) of Winter Park, Fla. and Vanny of Racine; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanette on December 11, 1999; one son, William; and one daughter, Cynthia. Funeral services will be held at the Hafemeister Funeral Home on Friday evening, September 29, 2000, at 8 p.m. with Rev. Bernard Rott of St. Henry Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be held at East Koshkonong Cemetery in the Town of Christina on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. William Nolan of St. Pius Catholic Church officiating.     STOUGHTON - Catherine V. 'Ginny' Spang, 70, formerly of Racine, passed away at the Skaalen Sunset Home in Stoughton on Monday evening, December 9, 2002. Mrs. Spang was born in Racine on March 21, 1932, and had lived in Racine for most of her life. She is survived by three children, George (Susan) Spang of Hustisford, Timothy (Vicki) Spang of Jefferson, and E. Louise Garcia of Racine; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Spencer of Stoughton and Carol (Gerald) Bailey living in California; and two sisters-in-law, Doris and Lucy Greene, both of Racine. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives also survive. Mrs. Spang was preceded in death by her daughter, Cyndra Spang; her son, William Spang; four brothers, Howard, Gordon, Emmett, and Milton; and two sisters, Dorothy Clausen and Joyce Perri. Private Graveside services were held at the St. Louis Cemetery on Friday afternoon, December 13, 2002, with Fr. Ronald Crewe officiating. Mrs. Spang's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Agmi and the staffs of the Stoughton Hospital and the Skaalen Sunset Home for their compassion and loving care.     Age 76. Passed away Nov. 22 in St. Mary's Hospital. Mrs. Spang was born in Caledonia, Wis. on Aug. 29, 1880. She was a member of St. Louis Church, Caledonia. Surviving are three sons, William of Racine, Robert of Franksville and John of Strawberry Point, IA; two daughters, Mrs. C. F. Dunn of Milwaukee and Mrs. William Cain of Bermuda; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Barbara Haas of Racine. Funeral services will be help Monday, 9 a.m., in the Maresh Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church, Caledonia, Rev. Alphonse Wissink officiating. Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery. Friends may call the the MARESH FUNERAL HOME, South Main at Eighth St., Sunday afternoon after 2 o'clock. The Rosary will be recited Sunday evening, 8 o'clock, in the funeral home.
