      WEDDING BELLS
      Marriage of a Young Couple Prominent in Reading Society
      (Special Dispatch to the Inquirer)
      Reading, Pa. Oct 22 -- The most fashionable wedding which has taken place in this city in a number of years occurred this evening in the marriage of Mr. Isaac Y. Spang and Miss Emma A. Hendel, prominent society young people. The wedding ceremony was performed in Trinity Lutheran Church which was thronged with people. Rev. Dr. Fry was the officiating clergyman. The bridesmaids were Miss Sue M. Musser, of Muscatine, Iowa; Miss Carrie Custer, of Adamstown, Pa; Miss Mary Buch, of Reading, and Miss Bessie Smith of Kingston, N.Y. Harry Ritter, of this city, was the best man, and the following served as ushers: George F. Hagenman, Howard G. Shirk, Milford N. Ritter, Dr. B.R. Lee, H.H. Hillegass and Charles F. Buch. The bridal party, in advancing up the main aisle of the church, was preceded by two flower girls, Bessie and Nellie Zimmerman. The marriage ceremony was performed under a large floral wish-bone. A reception was held to night at the residence of the bride's brother, Henry B. Hendel, Esq,. and was attended by other seven hundred invited guests. Mr. Hendel presented each of the bridesmaids with a diamond ring.
