    • Jere H. Spang, 76 of Palm Bay, Florida died at his home on Saturday, April 9, 2011. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Nathaniel and Blanche Fisher Spang. He was the husband of the late Dorothy G. Spang who died January 1989.

      He was a retired machinist with Thompson Corp for 38 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

      Surviving are three children, Jere H. (Bud) Spang Jr., Victoria Spang, Debra A. wife of Jeffrey Lambert, all of Florida, two grandchildren, Tracey wife of Brian Bender, Kelly Lambert, both of PA, four great granddaughters and a great grandson. He is also survived by a brother, James husband of Barbara Spang, MD, a nephew, Stephen husband of Karen Spang and two great nieces.

      A Graveside Service will be held at St Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 11:00AM with Msgr. Thomas Smith officiating.
