      Deceased Name: Kenneth E. Spang
      Kenneth E. Spang, U.S. Air Force Retired, born January 21, 1931, passed away November 20, 2006, at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aurelia R. Spang; and sons, Richard Lopez and Jesse Guerrero. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Susan and Mike Cunningham, Nita and David Salisbury, Ken and Paula Spang, Shirlee and Michael Filoteo and Armando Reyes; grandchildren, Clint, Christopher, Corinne, Shanon, David, Michael Jr., Dustin, Richard, Bonnie, Kenneth, Nicole and Megan; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Breydon, Damien, Dominick, Monty and Christalena; siblings, Diane Gardell, William Rush, III, Marian Mantyla and Michelle Bochette. Mr. Spang proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. He received the Airman's Medal Award for Bravery. He was a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran. A heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and Staff at Wilford Hall Medical Center on the 7th and 9th floor, ICU, and especially Capt. Jonathan Bishop, M.D. In lieu of fllowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2006, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Castle Ridge Mortuary, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 22, 2006, 12:15 p.m. at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. Services under the direction of Castle Ridge Mortuary.
