    • Thomas Ray Lasher, 66, of Ford City died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at his home. He was born Sept. 6, 1938 in McGrann to Raymond E. and Dorothy M. (Spang) Lasher. Mr. Lasher was a manager at Mr. Tile, retiring after 40 years of service in 2000. He was a member of New Life Center Assembly of God in Ford City. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association, an associate member of Ford City Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a previous member of Manor Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, loved train trips with Bill Nall and was an avid NASCAR fan. He spent his winters in Florida. Survivors include his wife, Carrie "Annette" Lasher; his daughter, Lisa J. Lasher of Ford City; two stepsons, Richard Marciante and wife Dana of Old Bridge, N.J. and Bryan Marciante and wife Shannon of Laurence Harbor, N.J.; one stepdaughter, Sherry Taylor and husband Eric of Grove City; four grandchildren, Natalie Kijowski, Rachael Kijowski, Michael Chekanski and Evan Chekanski; his great-grandson, Ryan Richards; four stepgrandchildren, Nicole Marciante, Richard Marciante, Danielle Marciante and Anthony Marciante; his brother, Robert Lasher and wife Peggy of Kittanning; his niece, Linda Lasher Schall; his son-in-law, Gregory Kijowski of Union, Ky.; and his life-long friend, Bill Nall of Brookville. He was preceded in death by his father in 1976; his mother in 1997; one daughter, Susan M. (Lasher) Kijowski in 1999; and one niece Robin E. Lasher in 1969. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday at the New Life Center Assembly of God, Ford City until funeral services at 11 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Craig Riggle, officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Choices, RD6 Box 288B, Kittanning, Pa. 16201.
