Henry HORNBERGER, Of Elm Street, Jamestown, died Saturday afternoon at Hospitality Home West, Xenia, where he had been a resident for the past two years. He was born February 1, 1889 in Springfield, the son of Martin and Mary (Spang) Hornberger. He was married June 12, 1922 to Miriam Gordon, who survives. Mr. Hornberger was a practicing pharmacist from 1936 to 1974. He was a member of the Jamestown United Methodist Church and the Springfield Masonic Lodge Number 455. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Max Heifner, Jamestown; a granddaughter, Joy Perkins and a great-granddaughter Jennifer Szalma, both of New Carrollton, Maryland; a brother, Robert of Springfield and several niece and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Grape Grove Cemetery near Jamestown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jamestown United Methodist Church or the Jamestown Emergency Squad.
