Killed by lightning, Pryor Shaul, a young man about 26 years of age, was struck by lightning on Friday last while proceeding to his work in a corn field about 1 1/2 miles south west of town and was instantly killed. The horse which he was riding was also killed and one which he was leading severely injured. The deceased was unmarried and had been engaged in labor for his mother on the farm for some time past. We hear of many deaths by lightning in all parts of the country this year.
