  New Haven Register -- April 28, 1885 Weddings New and Old John F. Spang, foreman in the cutting room at the Candee rubber shops, and Miss Minnie Flood, daughter of Christopher Flood of 21 Humphrey street, were married at St. Patrick's church. After a reception a weeks tour was begun.
