    • Theressa A. Spang, 72, of Vandergrift, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, in the Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, Harrison Township, where she had been a patient for eight days. She was born Sept. 13, 1934, in East Vandergrift, a daughter of the late Arthur G. and Frances T. Olczak Andring, and lived in Vandergrift her entire life. She was employed by Miller's Market in Vandergrift and also Vandergrift Golf Course. She was a member of St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church in Vandergrift. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jacob "Jake" Spang; her son, Vincent E. (Kathy) Cappo, of Kittanning; daughters, Deborah A. Cappo-Rago, of Washington Township, and Tammy L. Cappo, of Allegheny Township; three grandsons, Mark Vincent Rago, Steven Rago and Jacob Colin Kaminski; and sisters, Frances M. Crownover, of Elderton, Helen (Ronald) Benes, of Washington Township, Bernadette (Mark) Zahumensky, of Delmont, Mary Ann (Timothy) Ruffner, of Vandergrift, and Judith Lynn (Howard) Smith, of Washington Township. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wenesday and from 9 until time of parting prayers at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the GERALD J. MEDICE FUNERAL HOME, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift, with Father Chad Ficorilli, O.S.B., as celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
