    • FRANKTON FARMER, ALVAH WAYMIRE DIES TUESDAY

      FRANKTON,Oct 7---Funeral rites for Alvah Waymire 75, prominent farmer living northeast of Frankton, who died at St. John's Hospital Anderson Tuesday evening will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Methodist Church. Rev R.E. Boyle pastor and the Rev O.C. Stroup pastor of the Christian Church at Frankton will have charge. Burial will be made in Elwood City Cemetery. Born in Madison County April 24,1873 he has lived here all of his life. He was married to Evie L. Huntsinger Nov 14,1894. Mr.Waymire was a member of the First Methodist Church Elwood and a member of the board of directors of Farmers Grain and Coal Company at Frankton. Survivors include the following children: Mrs.Delbert Cochran of near Elwood, John Waymire of Lebanon, Mrs.Shirley Blake of Fort Branch, Mrs.Ora Brock of Summitville and Mrs.Otis Kiphart of Frankton. There are 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the George C. Harper Funeral Home in Frankton and last evening was returned to the residence.
